Regina and surrounding communities are now home to 241,422 people.
The latest figures from Statistics Canada show a 1.87 per cent increase in our population.
The numbers up to July 1, 2015, show Regina's census metropolitan area (CMA) population was estimated to be up by 4,427 people from 2014.
